    Hi AB :hello: :hello:

No real advice sorry but im upgrading mine too and have similar options.

Asking around I have heard the samsung touch screen can take a bit of getting used to - but I think its the best looking:D

I guess with the SEs you have to decide whats more important - the camera or the Walkman? I have the W810i now which has been a really good phone so i think I will be sticking with SEs - on the other hand I rarely use the mp3 player so the SE850i might be better for me with the 5 megathinglydongly camera (bet this reply is really really helping eh:rotfl: )

If I was you I would go for the ................mmmm............the best looking SE:D :D

    Sorry for the added confusion

Depends what you want the phone for (apart for the obvious)

I am nearly at the upgrade stage and toying with the K850i because of the camera.

I use the camera function on a phone much more than music.

The other key thing for me is battery life.

Much as I don't care for the SE interface the batteries last longer than anything else I have ever had.

Was toying with the Nokia N82 but spoke to a friend who has the N95 and he carries a spare battery at all times, cant be bothered with that.
  • Oo er. that doesn't look good!
And I'm very heavy handed with my poor phone :)

  • My main concern is a decent camera.

I don't bother with the music much since I constantly have people twittering at me for attention.

I have used the K800 for ages and the camera is pretty good on that, which is why I fancy an upgrade to a 5 mega pixel one

I have to agree with mymatebob as to what/how you use your phone. I use mine as a phone and not a camera or MP3 player so I want one that is easy to use and because my last two phones have been Samsung thats why I went for another.

but once I work out how to use the various functions I might put some music on it :o

The other thing I would suggest is go and hold the phones, if you can.

Although you rarely see them working the button layout, operation of a slider etc etc gives you some sort of feel for the phone

I went into the O2 shops to get some advice on mine and they were very good. Brought out the 5 phones I was interested in to let me play with them before I decided. Glad they did that because the one I fancied was horrible when I tried to play with it!
