Barclays has opened cash ISA a/c for wrong year

I opened a tax haven ISA with Barclays a week before the April deadline. At the branch, I filled in the form correctly. Their ISA dept made a data capturing error with my NI no and I got a letter returning my cheque on 4 April. I went back into branch and they resubmitted the application - they had a person there dedicated to doing just that as had had so many customers in the same boat. I also filed a complaint and in today's post I got 2 letters:
1. thank you for your complaint, we'll deal with it by end May.
2. here is your tax haven account info....it's for this year, not last.
How should I deal with this to sort it out once and for all? Obviously their error means that I can't add to my ISA savings this year unless they admit their mistake.
