I want to upgrade to Nokia n95 8Gb

I am currently with Vodafone and would like to stay as I've never had a problem. As the title suggests I would like a Nokia n95 8Gb and will have a go at the retention route. I pay 21.11 GBP inc VAT for 125 mins and 250 texts, passport and all that stuff.
My problem is that I can't find a similar deal with free handset to beat Vodafone over the head with. Anyone out there know of one?
Failing that I may be persuaded to jump ship for the right price, though I can't be doing with the money back scemes as I'm abroad alot and just not that organised!

Thanks........refugee from techie forum,

Zahc

just ask for the puk code and say you'll leave

n95 8gb is a sought after phone at the moment.
best new deal i've seen is on three £30 i think for 18 months and good package.

i'm with vodafone and looking to upgrade to this phone and don't want to pay more than my £25 i pay at the moment.

my bro-in law managed to get this free on 18 month contract for sub £25 inc vat i think, so i'm going to push, when my upgrade is available.

tell me how you get on

someone on the vodafone retentions thread has this phone free on voda (from retentions dept), with 500min x-net (stop the clock), 250 texts for £15.00 a month. I'm going to ask for my PAC code and see if I can get the same!

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean PUK or MAC?
I reckon I'm not going to take no for an anwer! I am, after all, a loyal customer.

i didn't get a good deal last time, but i wasn't a member here. so done a bit of research.

if you read the other thread on voda retention, some guy got the phone free and half price line rental and not an expensive one either.

sorry meant PAC. port code thing.

know what's puk and mac code again ;-)

    Got handset free, 18 month contract, kept original number, got another number;

    It goes like this......
Original contract still at 125 min anytime, 250 texts, stop the clock and passport but now at £10/month for 12 months retaining same number.
New contract running alongside for 100 min anytime and unlimited texts, stop the clock and passport with free n95 8G handset at £20/month for 18 months.
This suits me as I'm a light user, I can use my current number on the new handset and give the new number to my daughter with old handset. And I've now got GPS so I won't get lost in foreign cities!!
Or to put another way; I've got unlimited texts, a new nokia n95 8G, an extra number and an extra 100 mins talk for £9 extra a month.
Nearest I could find anywhere else was with 3 for £30/month.

I meant £9 extra a month. In essence I'm paying £30/month for 250 mins and unlimited texts with the handset I wanted. It obviously won't suit everyone, but the extra sim (number) is just the job for me.

Told them I'd defect to 3!

Incidentally, the handset is very good.
