New wing mirror

  • There is some of the swivelly mechanism there but it doesn't look as if the glass just 'stuck' on so I suspect that there is another piece which sticks to the mirror and clips into the bit that's left.

If you go to Halfords, you can ask one of the lads if they fit them and ask them to have a look at what is left on your wing mirror and see what they say.

EDIT ( Just seen your reply) It will not be easy to tell from a picture ( may be only me) whether you need only the mirror bit or the mirror bit and some plastic holder to attach it to your wing mirror.

See what Halfords or your local motor factor say about what is missing.

I went to the renault parts desk yesterday and the guy said that the mirror comes with the attachment already stuck on. It was about £23 which isn't as horrendous as I thought it might be.

The computer said they had one but he couldn't find it. I was hoping to turn on a little charm and get him to clip it on. He said it just pushes on, you just need to be careful not to push too hard and crack the mirror.

I've now got to order one in so I revisited ebay and, by the time I've added postage it won't work out any cheaper.

Apparently, Halfords only sell the glass bit.
