Brighthouse PC (infinity) rubbish but drivers needed

I seem to have lots of PC questions lately.
My sister-in-law bought at Brighthouse an Infinity PC a few years ago.
Problem is that the drivers need to be updated and can't seem to find an official website to download it from.
Infinity has no website, Brighthouse has no clue, most of the PC forums I have been to, don't know this brand either.
Who's Infinity? Anyone knows where I can find drivers for the product?
She hasn''t got Internet by the way, I will have to save it to a CD or a Pen.

Sounds like a home brew, a one off.
Option 1 Download and run Belarc advisor this will give you all the hardware and software installed in the machine.
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Option 2 Open pc and remove all components to find manufacturing markings and model numbers and make a note of these. Rebuilt pc, cleaning as you go.
Option 3 Find any manuals and paperwork supplied with machine.
Then get back here.0 -
If I update the Bios, by downloanding the latest motherboard BIOS version, will it have the same effect?
Thanks!!Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
Not sure what you are trying to achieve. Why do you think that the drivers/bios needs updating?
Download PCwizard here and it will give you full details of your system, including the motherboard make model etc. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Hi Espresso,
The PC has had a new XP installation. But because they did not save the drivers, some devices: EThernet controller, Multimedia audio controller, PCI simple communications controller and the standard floppy disk controller are all showing a yellow question mark next to it, meaning no drivers recognised.
It's an Infinity PC, a brighthouse only rubbish brand, therefore no website to download the drivers.
The motherboard is a Epox EP-4PLMI but it's not listed on the Epox website, so again I have nowehere to download the drivers from.
I was told by a friend of mine that usually updating the motherboard/BIOS has the same effect as installing all the drivers one by one. But I am also struggling to find an update for the EP-4PLMI BIOS. It seems that it's an old motherboard.
I have ran Belarc and EVerest but just device manager, none tell me the make of the devices above.
So in a tight situation as you can see. I wonder if any other Epox motherboards are similar to the "deceased" EP-4PLMI?Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -

If the PC can connect to the net at the moment. (Ethernet controller) Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Scooter,
Espresso is right, can't connect to the internet.
This all started when loading up XP, the blue bar keeps moving with the XP logo above but nothing happens. It starts normally on safe mode, but not on normal mode.
I am trying to update the drivers in order to solve thr prob. Any suggestions?Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
