Birmingham Midshires ISAs - very slow?

Can anyone give me a timescale for how long BM are taking to open new ISAs?
I sent them an application form and cheque for £3600 in the post ten days ago, the cheque has not yet been cashed and I've heard nothing back?

Anyone else quicker -or as slow? Just want to reassure myself they are unlikely to have lost all my stuff.

    I opened a new ISA with Nationwide on the 21st April, it was all sorted by the 24th..

    I would contact them.

    I applied online for my BM ISA almost 4 weeks ago. Was told a pre-printed application form would be sent. Not heard anything since. Contacted them after 2 weeks and they said it would be with me in a week. Still nothing and the product has been withdrawn for new customers.

    I then gave up with them and went to National Counties BS. They had my account opened and ID documents verified within a week.
