want contract phone but...

Hi everyone,

I would like a contract phone and not Pay-as-you-go, but ive only been in the UK for 2months as I seem to need 3 years of address history for these online mobile phone retailers. Is there a 'fast route' or 'wild card' i can use, as im solvent etc etc . Im from Australia, and have not previously been on a contract with mobile phone suppliers.

unlikely but not impossible, have you go a bank account set up? get that all set up first, i would suggest using paug for just at least a month first, then try for a sim only contract
(MUCH easier to pass and can be changed to a full contract later) or contract
keep in mind if your not declined its likely you would have to pay a deposit
may be better to try in store, take proof of ID with you, in a lot of cases they ask for these proofs to be faxed off and a pretty instant decision compared to online if it does go to referrals,
