£9.99 Unlimited Broadband

I have just read in the Sunday Mail about UK Online. They offer Broadband packagest from only £9.99 with unlimited download. This is only 512kb speed but significantly cheaper than anything else I have heard of so far. Haven't done great amounts of research on it but it may be worth a look.

Its only available if they have "unbundled" your exchange. The £9.99pm 512Kbps is only when available via their own LLU network.

I posted it here recently. Note UKOnline tie you into a 12 month contract, so if you have problems, you're stuck with them for a while. Reviews have been both good and bad - think it mainly those that aren't on their LLU products that have the most problems.

Myself, I have signed up to Be* Un limited, which is just opening up its trial of 24Mbps for just £20pm on a 3monthly contract. See this post for details - also includes details of PlusNet who offer up to 2Mbps for just £14.99per month (monthly contracts available).


With any LLU providers (UKOnline, freedom2surf, Bulldog, Be*, Homechoice) you'll need to use their own checker to see if they are in your exchange.
