T mobile & texts abroad

Can anyone advise me if it costs anything to receive texts while outside the UK??
I have looked on the T mobile site but cant find the answer

nope its free to receive a text whilst on roaming. but before you go id recommend that you turn off your voicemail as you will be charged 3 times for the one call (charges per min vary on location but about 1.40 pmin per call type) also if you need to send a txt message whilst abroad, send it via mms. its 40p per sms or 20p per mms sent. and if you re on a flext plan the mms would come out of your allowance for the month where as the sms wouldnt.

oh another perk of sending the mms whilst away is that you get lots more characters and get to send a pic so its cheaper than a postcard and will be delivered before you get back :j:j
