now the stoopid thing keeps telling me I'm entering the wrong details-I've checked about 10 times now and I'm definitely not :mad:0

Still down at 4pm. Methinks Nationwide need to employ some new web technicians. Being unable to login all day is just unacceptable.0

oh at long last it's worked! :T only took 7 hours!0

I've never experienced that. How bizarre.0 -
i couldnt sign in all day either. i needed money all day but only have a cash card (no chip n pin). All my money was in my e-savings acc but it wouldnt open on 2 internet connections.
so, i went into my local branch because i needed money all day. the guy that served me knew nothing about the service going down until i pionted it out to him. shouldnt there be more communication throughout the branches??? i tried the internet in the branch too as i kno my details off by heart. however it got stuck at the same place. he told me theres nothing i could do.
iv been at home all day trying it, and only got on at 5:30pm, so i couldnt go out and buy the things that i had planned to buy as the shops are shutting... should i be able to get compensation? - afterall they cant give me my day back
thanks0 -

It's a great shame that your first post was asking about compensation!
You will find that Nationwide and all other on-line providers have clauses in their T&Cs excluding loss of service.0 -
I've just discovered £2500 of fraudulent transactions on my credit card and after talking with N/W's Fraud Dept I get the impression they're inundated with similar claims. This together with the hurried introduction of the personal card reader and now these website problems lead me to suspect that customer account data from the laptop stolen last year is now in criminal hands...:eek:0

Yes...i agree. The stress from that busy Friday has passed - looking 4ward to the new week now with a new rule - always keep a bit of money in my main account just in case!0 -

I checked in branch and apparently you can transfer so I will sign up for those odd occasions when IB is down.0
