Buying from Aria?

Sainthalo- I read all about how cheap small claims court is when I had a run in with Time. I visited Citizen's advice and they arranged for me to meet a solicitor. She told me about a case she had with Dixons where they refused to accept liability. After a very long time, they had to (or agreed - I don't remember which) to pay up, not in full though. This left the poor chap out of pocket and with grey hair - probably.
The solicitor advised me to contact them one more time and if they did not co-operate, I should consider small claims. She didn't sound to confident about my chances though. I mentioned that I had read about my rights online and that I wouldn't need a solicitor, to which she replied, it's not as simple as it's made out to be and that I probably would need legal assistance.
Anyways I got lucky Time caved in, even though I mailed them my rights hundreds of times in the past. I guess some nice must have received them that day.0 -
small claims is not so tough - PM me if you're serious (if not serious please dont). if theres something about your case you're not mentioning then thats a different matter but from what you have said its cast iron and just down to if you have the balls to do it. like i said this link is the best advice anyone will ever give you: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk.0

I used Aria for a small order of a headset and a splitter socket.... arrived fast.. not what i ordered. I rang CS who were worse than useless and had no idea of what they had sent me!! They offered to change the items if i returned them at a cost to myself even thought i had paid £3.99 postage and it was there much up after all!
I wont be using them again - in my opinion they are USELESS!!0 -

I ordered from them on the 20th of june this year, only one out of 4 items arrived and I have been chasing them for a refund since. They are the worse company i have dealt with when there is a problem.
I have contacted trading standard and my credit card company. I've been advised to write them a letter telling them they are in breached of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and given them 14 days to refund me + costs incurred from their non deliverance. The letter will go out tomorrow by recorded mail.
A measure of how good a company is how efficient they are when a problem arise. Aria are a bunch of cowboys that should be taught a lesson by imposing a fine on them from Trading Standard.0 -
For those of you that have had problems with Aria, why don't you all write to MicroMart with the details, as Aria are a large advertiser there - also worth writing in to the weekly computer magazine (whos name escapes me). Bad publicity usually gets these companies moving if they want to stay in business. I found them fine, but to be honest, If I'd read some of the posts here I would have had second thoughts about ordering from them.0
