My Meal plan for this week is as follows!
Monday
Chicken Tikka Wraps (someone kindly gave me a few groceries and an Uncle Ben's pack was in there, thought I had better use it but from experience it will also do mine and DH's lunch tomorrow). DD will chose her own meal, but it will probably be Pasta!
Tuesday
At my Mums should of been Chicken pie, but she is making lemon chicken and rice. I will have some of the leftovers for lunch on Wednesday!
Wednesday
Chilli con carne and Rice (making second portion for the freezer!) DD will have the same, but without the spice!
Thursday
Peppercorn Steak with Veg (at my Mums againas it is her birthday today and mine on the 2nd, we went and spent a bit extra for some nice Steak which we split the cost on! No leftovers on this as it is just too nice!!!) I have no idea how to make this so will be going over to my Mums early so she can teach me!
Friday
Homemade Chicken and Mushroom pie with veg! (second pie for the freezer!)
Saturday
Pasta and Cod in butter sauce (Cravings what can I say?)
Sunday
Leftover pie with fresh veg!
I am also making a quiche (or two) for the freezer, two birthday Victoria sponge cakes (one for me and one for my Mum!), and as it is my turn to make something that you would normally buy in a restaurant/shop (DH made Big Macs according to Todd Wilbur's recipie) I am going to make these infamous hobnobs I have heard so much about!0 -

This is the first time I've done a menu plan. I've decided todo it as it just makes sense, I have 2 freezers full of food yet I go out and 'fancy' having something different to what I have at home. We really need to cut back.
So, here goes I have stuck this on my fridge, I will give it a go.
Monday - Steak, chips, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes.
Tuesday- Sausage and mash
Wednesday - Thai green curry.
Thursday - Chicken and pasta
Friday - Home made burgers
Saturday - Asda meals from the chinese counter I bought last week and didnt have.
Sunday - Probably will go out for sunday dinner as thats our once a month treat after getting paid, otherwise roast lambCapital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done0 -
Meal plan? My head is spinning as I'm trying to catch up - have come back from a work trip with a stinking cold. So far I have:
Sunday - barbecue
Monday - curried tuna quiche with fennel au gratin
Tuesday - HM pizza
Wednesday - tortellini in HM stock; leek/goat's cheese parcels, salad
Thursday - spicy beef with apricots, ps broccoli, couscous
Friday - spinach, potato & chick pea curry, rice
Saturday - something French: people coming to stay and I don't know them (friends of my late PIL).
am also doing an art course from Thurs to Sun so need to plan a bit better once this cold stops blocking my brain cells....."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0 -
