    :hello:

Tonight:- Turkey and chickpea, red lentil ( and everything in the fridge i could possibly bulk it out with and managed to put 3 more meals worth in the freezer) curry, rice, naan and Samosa's (hm friday night takeaway)

Sat - HOT thai chicken noodle soup, spring rolls

Sun - sheperds pie with cabbage

Mon - chilli, hm salsa, rice

Tues - smoked haddock spinach Fish pie

Weds - (husband away) got a sea bass for 1 lurking in the freezer so that with new pots and leftover salsa for me and pasta probably for kids

Thurs - (husb away) hm pizza with whatever toppings we feel like and salad

All is home made and only need to make the fish pie and chilli (will make enough to freeze 2 more meals worth) and salsa as the rest is in the freezer. Going to make a cake and flapjacks for lunches/ kids puds. All I think I need to buy next week are avocado's and coriander for the salsa :T .

    Have a great week.

Hello, I'm new here and would like to join in if that's ok? My meal plan for WC Saturday 26th April is:

Saturday - Steak (from freezer), garlic mash and green beans (from freezer)
Sunday - Dinner at BF's parents house - I'm the only one that eats chicken so I bring almost a whole cooked one home with me!)
Monday - busy night for me so I'll defrost sausages for BF to cook himself with jacket pot and veg and I'll have soup and a granary roll (cauliflower cheese soup I think!) from the freezer when I get home
Tuesday - Smoked salmon (from freezer), jacket potato and salad
Wednesday - honey and mustard chicken salad (using leftover chicken) with crash hot potatoes
Thursday - Garlic prawn spaghetti and salad (prawns from freezer)
Friday - Fish and chips with peas and sweetcorn (all from the freezer)

All I should have to buy for this mealplan is salad (I'm growing some but its not ready yet!) and a few new potatoes for the crash hots. Breakfasts are always the same - I have branflakes or a banana shake and a cereal bar, depending how early I have to go out, BF has porridge. For lunch I cook a big gammon joint and we have gammon and salad sarnies or leftover chicken sarnies all week! Plenty of fruit in between and no naughties;) (well, that's the plan anyway - I am also joining the weight loss thread!)

By the way - I have an abundance of lamb mince in the frezzer due to a tesco delivery error - lamb gives me tumy ache but my BF loves it, however, the only thing I know how to cook with it is shepherds pie and if he has to have that virtually every night for the next two months I suspct he may get bored. Any ideas for easy, freezable recipes would be gratefully recieved!
