Barclays-6.5% Isa

Required Isa for wife and myself-£3600 each-tried to open accounts in St Helens, Widnes and Frodsham-all insisting on appointments-all to busy or no staff.
Cheshire BS-two ISA`s opened-signed, sealed and delivered in 10 minutes.
My experience of Barclays has convince me that my money is better of in the Cheshire

Lower rate at Cheshire BS so u arent comparing like for like are u ?

Also Cheshire BS dont pay interest on cheque deposits until the 4th day following receipt which reduces your interest further compared with most other savings providers.

I had a similar experience as you @ Bradford and Bingley on 7th April. ;)

What about the 2-4-6 rule? interest payable from 2nd day after receipt! is this not now industry standard?
