BT Modem Protection

I have been using BT Modem Protector for a while, and am continuously getting random numbers coming up as being dialled. These are not premium rate or standard numbers just single numbers or rows of numbers, My PC is virus/spyware dialler free.
There is nothing on thier FAQ page, anybody else use this or gets the spurious number problem?

As I use broadband, I took my old 'dial-up' modem out of my main PC, so can't get that problem.
I put it in a spare PC that is not connected all the time, only when I want to send a fax, I receive faxes via an 0870 number to email. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
