African/Nigerian bidder problem

This might not (probably not) be the link requested by s30jok, but very similar response by an American Ebay seller to a scam from London.
He realises a European bidder is trying to scam him out of a Powerbook (fake escrow site, hijacked ebay account), so he sends him a fake Powerbook (hilarious photos on the site)! With the help of his fellow forum members, the response is plotted, and with forum members watching for delivery and for the scammer, the story is quite a good read.

I remember reading the story a while ago, and with a few lucky keywords into Google, it was there.
I'm on a roll now, and have been reading some of the 'scam-baiting' stories on http://www.419eater.com/index.htm, a site dedicated to giving tips and case stories on how to get your own back on the scammers.0 -

There is a guy called Dean Cameron who did a show at the Edinburgh Festival about his correspondence with Nigerian scammers, pretending he was a rich but slightly eccentric chap who liked sending pictures of his 2 cats, Mister Snickers and Joe Joe the Dancing Clown.
