African/Nigerian bidder problem

I keep trying to sell a phone on ebay but idiots from africa and nigeria keep bidding on my auction even though I stated that I don't ship to outside the UK. Is there a method to block international bidders permanently?
Also one bidder who is registered in the UK (zero feedback) has won the auction but wants me to send it to 'her son' who lives in africa. How can I get rid of this bidder because it is too late to cancel their bid, as they have already won the auction

i had thsi problem last month. they ended my phone auction 3 blinking times by clicking buy it now option & then asking me to send it to nigeria. Someone said it is a top scam on ebay. In the end i had to sell it with no buy it now option as this deters them & change your preferences so only people in uk can bid. Also write like i did that there will be no posting it to nigeria for there brother/sister/great aunts aunt! someone said the postal orders they send is fake...i dont get the scam totally but they keep on doing it.I emailed everyone the last one bid on to completely waste his time & i told him i had done it.0

I had this problem twice on the run, a UK registered buyer wanting postage to Nigeria.
If your prefrences are set to UK buyers only, you can start the NPB process, as your buyer has not met your auction requirements, because he wants shipment to a country that you don't ship to. You will get your final value fee back but not your original listing fee.
When you relist it do so without a buy it now option as mentioned above.0 -
Thanks now i know how it works to. Id lose to post something gross to them , that'd surprise them! I told the last one how poor i was & whether he enjoyed stealing from poor people , also said i hope im not standing anywhere near you on judgment day! ..... after continual harrassment from him he never emailed again(hope he felt bad!)0

I had this exact same thing last month on one of my BIN auctions. I emailed eBay to complain about the bogus buyer, changed my auction settings and relisted the item that same afternoon. This time around though, I had no BIN option, requested that bidders with 0 feedback contact me first to confirm they were legit (otherwise I would cancel their bids) and put a clear warning that I will not send outside the UK so there was no point wasting either their time or mine. It sold the second time around to a genuine buyer in England.0

I've decided to just refuse to sell the item to that bidder because I just don't trust them and sent a second chance offer to the next highest bidder.0

I don't know what the prob is, there is no scam or problem sending stuff to Nigeria; there is actually a mobile phone black hole in Nigeria.
The locals take the mobiles and use the chips in them to make computers much chaper than they could buy one for. This is a little known loophole that Microsoft and Dell have stopped us doing in the UK, coz you need a special tool, which is illegal in the UK (but not in Nigeria).
The idea that Nigeria is a scamming place is a falsehood perpetuated by the evils of Sicromoft and Lled to stop you eventually gaining a PC for £20.
I personally always sell to Nigeria and love the place, especially since I got $234 million from the relatives of General Abacha (what a nice family).
