0705 is not a mobile number included in 'free' minutes

Hi, I have just had my mobile phone bill in and was most upset to see that I have been charged £2.19 for a 3.41min call. I am on 3 and have 300 'free' minutes or texts. The number I called was 0705351**** and has come up on the bill as Personal Numbering Service. I queried it with 3 and they say that 070 numbers are not 'free' calls. These calls will be charged for apparently by all the networks.
I could not remember who this call was to, so I called it again on the BT landline (they charge 50p a minute) to find it was a wholesale flower market I'd called!

That number range is owned by Redstone Communications Ltd, and is classed as a personal number and are normally not included in bundled minutes due to the interconnect costs associated with them..

Numbers starting 070500, 070501, 070502, 070503, 070505, 070506, 070507, 070508 and 070509

BT charge for calls to this code at their k rate (Calls to Personal Numbering Services). It is

• 10.63p per minute (ex VAT), or approximately 12.5p per minute (inc VAT) Weekends.
• 21.27p per minute (ex VAT), or approximately 25p per minute (inc VAT) Evenings & Night-time.
• 31.91p per minute (ex VAT), or approximately 37.5p per minute (inc VAT) Daytime.

Ofcom has already had some dealing with them in the past.
