    hi all,

When do tax credits send out a renewal form and is this the one that you can confirm your income off your p60 (whereas the income would of been estimated previously)?

You can also take the information from your final payslip if you haven't had your P60 yet. They ask you which you are using when you phone them.

We received our renewal form on Friday and I renewed by phone on Sunday. As always, I will chase it up if I get nothing back within two weeks. I never trust they have done these things until I see it in print!

okay thanks. I have never had trouble with them in the past but you never know what with the provisional paperwork stating figures so different than I expected.

I gave my renewal details over the phone last Wednesday and have received £116 in my bank account today which I assume is back money owed to me. Just gotta wait for my awards notice now but by the looks of it I'm going to be better off!

Raq did you get any further on? I renewed last week and had a payment into my account yesterday which I wasn't expecting. Then today I have had a provisional notice saying £0 is due to be paid but no award for this year yet. I'm a bit confused too and dreading calling them.

we had this a cpl of years ago,,wife did phone them and they insisted it was correct,,then when we got tax form in it was stating an overpayment which they were taking off the tax credits owed to us:) seems a strange way to work give u it 1 hand and then take it back in dribs and drabs

Great news for you. Question : Did you receive the FINAL paperwork reward then the money into your bank account. Just my provisional paperwork is saying nothing is owed back to myself. Rang them back again this morning and said "This could change but didn't know of any figures as the computer updated on a daily basis". Also my figures for 2008/2009 could also change:confused: Awful isn't it as I would really like to budget over the next week or so to know where we all are.

I'll be gutted if there isn't any underpayment as we had hardly any money for 2007/2008.

    Any advise would be great.

I phoned to renew my claim on Monday. Yesterday I called them to check it was being processed (I'm a worrier!) They told me that I would be getting a payment into my account on Tuesday 6th May - they told me the amount but not what it was for. They also told me what my on going payments would be.

They said I may or may not receive the paperwork before the payment goes in.

I am impressed at how quickly it all happened. :j

Oh my word ! Was it a large amount? I do not want to find I owe the money 2 minutes after they have given it to me. I'd rather pay it straight back.

this is how am feeling as we where expecting a larger payment from them. Had and additional £170.57 into the bank but when you only had £6,500.00 for last years salary it makes you stop and think.
