Reading about stuff being last years reminded me of the time my daughter and I were in Selfridges. She desperately longed for a Gucci handbag. She saw one in the sale she liked and it was just about within the price range I had decided on. She was thrilled to bits to actually be getting a real Gucci bag and how we laughed when the snooty sales assistant said."Modom does realise it is last years model?"

We still giggle about it now, the bag has long since gone though.
