• its really not worth contacting them mel, read through the posts here and i can tell you from personal experience - they do not care and will not assist - just fob you off and make threats.
I agree - I've written several times, I've rung several times. Letters - only one was answered with none of my issues being dealt with (just their normal computerised reply). Phone calls are really something else. I've been dealing with this company for many years without problems, but lately they're rubbish. The last time I rang got no real help just a condescending character being rude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor that was not possible. When I quoted the Supply of Goods Implied Terms Act 1973 it went very quiet. Previous rude individual put me on hold for nearly five minutes. When he eventually returned said they could not help me that day because..... wait for it..... my birthday was on the 9th April but according to Mr. Charm they had it down as the 8th!! He then said if I wished to sort things out I had to send PROOF of my birthdate. Sent a letter to the address at Sandringham House that he gave me with all my concerns in it plus copy of my birth certificate. That was on the 20th March and I have heard absolutely nothing. I am stuck with a laptop that doesn't work anymore and worse than that I have evidence that it has been sent to a previous customer (who registered it with the maker) and so I got sent a message from HP to say my guarantee ran out at the end of December. Interesting as I only bought it last May.
But Littlewoods are ever hopeful, if stupid. On Saturday I received a letter from them offering to extend my guarantee for another year for a mere £155. Flipping cheek.
If you have bought anything in the last year from Littlewoods I suggest you contact the makers for your extended guarantee. HP is a quarter of the price Littlewoods offers.
• i made a payment on the21/9 which was late as i got caught out by the 28 days payment system so had to pay a charge but to solve this i paid another payment on the 1/10 when i got paid so that i would be ahead, but have since found out that it was made 1 day too early so had been counted as an extra payment made for sept, so now have to pay again or go into arrears. emailed and rang several times, no joy, just keep getting same reply, that they cant do anything. they are willing to lose my custom then just change to date i made the payment. anybody else had any joy with this problem?
• Somebody help me. I can't seem to get Littlewoods to understand that buying a faulty washing machine is not cool since these days washing machines don't last anyway. They keep asking me to get it repaired although it has broken down twice only a month after I bought it.

Is there any boss I can talk to who can help because all the other people I am speaking to seem to be thinking losing 1 customer who they have had for the past 10 years, is a joke. I have been a very loyal customer to them with a credit limit of 6900 pounds because I have been nothing more than loyal to them. But just replacing a faulty washing machine seems a big thing to the after sales team. The machine has left me out of pocket, paying 5 pounds per cycle .
If anyone knows anyone higher than the customer services email address they provide, please do let me know.
• Littlewoods is a brand owned by Shop Direct Group. Shop Direct Group's CEO is Alex Baldock (alex.baldock@shopdirect.com). Head of Buying for all electrical products is Tony Druce (tony.druce@shopdirect.com).

I doubt very much that 'Lizzie' is an actual person's name.

Good luck
• Thanks Nigel

I will contact them and see how they move the case forward. So desperate man!

Hi Jesu,

We're sorry to hear you're having problems with this washing machine.

If you have had the washing machine less than 28 days then we will be able to arrange a return for this item for you however; you will need to have the item inspected first for manufacturing faults.

Just drop us an email to help@littlewoods.co.uk and we can look into this for you.

Many Thanks

Chris

• Hi

Has anyone managed to send an email recently to the help@littlewoods.co.uk email address quoted by their rep in this thread? Every time I send an email it bounces with email address rejected by server - it's their server doing the bounce for that email address!

Thanks

Has anyone had any luck if they've tried to e-mail alex.baldock@shopdirect.com? I've been having a nightmare with Very, and they are also owned/run by Shop Direct. I have had to chase a response to e-mails, I've had people be unhelpful on the phone and rude via e-mails, and I'm fed up of waiting for them to get back to me. I've tried a general Shop Direct e-mail (communications@shopdirect.com), but not had a response yet.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Helena

I bought a bed frame from Littlewoods via ebay on the 9th December 2013. They sent me a bum tracking number for Yodel delivery services but the tracking number never worked. I emailed them to find out why it never worked and they never responded to my emails, 3 weeks went by and still no bed frame so I emailed them again and this time got a response from a useless representative called Karen, ( No surname lol )she said I think it's got lost in the post ( A KING SIZE BED FRAME ) Yeah Right Karen. At this point I felt like saying get off your fat ars.. make a few phone calls and find out what happened to it, you've had my money for nearly a month now. I emailed her back to ask why she didn't look into the tracking number not working and again no reply. So at present I have now opened up a case against Littlwoods on ebay, they told me a week ago they would refund me and still no refund or replies. In conclusion it seems Littlewoods advertise products they don't have in stock on ebay to stop the customer buying from their competitors then employ delay tactics and Bullsh..t until the product does becomes available. As far as I’m concerned it’s WAR, I’m a website designer by trade so I’m going deep link negative reviews across hundreds of internet forums rubbishing the Littlewoods name, send a written complaint to ( Companies House, Company no: 00232346 )
Make a complaint to trading standards and hopefully cost Littlewoods a lot more in lost revenue than they cost me. Anyone thinking of buying you would be best to stick with Amazon or Argos these muppets should be made exstinct like the dinosaurs. BRING IT ON
