                    Hi,
I have a very very energetic 2 year old lovely baby boy.
We would like to buy him a playgym, climbing frame etcwith swing slide etc. DH has been told to invest in TP wood range as it is the best as we would get 10 years out of it. The thing is i tis so expensive £700+ and not exactly moneysaving.
Does anybody know where I can buy this brand on the cheap or any other useful suggestions ?
Thanx in advance;)

Not helpful in price but I can say that TP stuff is fantastic, we live nearish the factory so bought our double swing from there and 8 years on is not even showing signs of age.
ELC and The Entertainer stock TP toys though so you may be able to order from one of those when they have an offer on, there's always 20% vouchers for ELC about, it just depends if they've the one you want.0

I worked for Toymaster a few years ago and they deal with TP, have a look if there is a store near you and nip down for the summer catalogue:

I can say, hand on heart, that it is the best. Yes, its expensive, but if your little boy is only 2 it will last him throughout his childhood. You can start with a basic set and add to it as he grows.0

We've got a TP shute that was handed onto us by the neighbours. It was bought for their one year old who is now 14 ! It's showing a little rust now but still in good nick.
We bought a TP swing (£30) it's 2 years old and still looks brand new and believe me it get's a hammering most days. Well worth the money. So little money - so much time :mad:0

Try ebay, just a quick search in toys & Games - Out door Toyst - Climbing Frames and theres loads of TP items. Put your postcode in and see if theres any going in your area.

Oh, this is handy - we're doing the garden for my DS2's 3rd birthday in June, I was looking for sturdy outdoor toys for him.
I notice there is a factory shop on the link that pulliptears posted

The factory shop is in Stourport (Worcestershire), only about 7 miles from me! They do have various items with money off in the yard outside. If it is within driving distance for you, they have a large shop too plus an outdoor play area where kids can test out various slides, tree houses and so on.

            Hi
We bought a big outdoor wooden swing / slide from Dunster House. We've had it for a year so far and we're still very pleased with it.0

My local free paper has adds for two tp slide climbing sets (20 and 30 pounds). I bought a slide with most of the climbing bits and two sets of monkey bars with toddler handrails and covers for 50 quid, about two years ago. Now is the best time to find bargains for TP sets as people do sort out gardens now. The metal ones do last years, the one I have is 10 years old and is still in pretty good shape.
I don't expect a 12 year old to want to play on a slide so you need to look at the resale value if in 5 years time they are bored with it and don't use it. Would you feel that your money was well spent? Mine don't play on it as much as they used to and they are only 4 and 6 now. I expect its because its always there in the garden.0
