definitely sign up to all the cashback sites. it mightonly be a little bit of extra but it all helps. I've just got my contents insurance through quidco and its meant it cost me £3 for a year after getting cashback so definitely worth a look.

Hi iwanttosavemoney2008, some great advice so far, I've googled a list of numbers for ge money here:
http://www.gemoney.co.uk/en/utility/contact_list.html
Definitely get rid of Sky, we Freeviewed for three years with teenager and toddler with no complaints from either of them as they still get teenager type channels and cbeebies. If for some reason you can't, then give them a call and tell them you're leaving - Sky will probably offer you a deal to keep you.
Have a look at Martin's advice on moving credit card debts too.
Our experience is Tesco reward vouchers are good for meals and days out you otherwise couldn't afford (and giving yourself a reward occasionally)."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Be careful with GE Money, they have a habit of handing the debts over to "Viking"
If it has been haned over to Viking, you can get them on this number: 0870 513 4601, although personally, I'd rather write to them, here's their address if your need it:
