A revolving balance is what you have if you don't pay your card off in full each month.
Never seen any reports of "offers" being made on the Egg Money card.0 -

Don't understand this matey, can you simplify it lol.....
" Does that have exactly the same definition of 'revolving balance'? "
So you have never heard or been offered any special deal to do with rates etc with the Egg Money card !!0 -
The products don't share identical definitions (as I thought they would do), but they're broadly the same.
Egg Money has a different intended market/use from the Egg Card, and has, as standard, a very low 7.9% rate on all transaction types. It also offers considerably less credit limit than the Egg Card, since it's designed for monthly budgeting/pre-loading with your own money.
I'd therefore be very surprised if they started dishing out 0% offers on Egg Money.0 -
Egg try out new offers every so often.
Back in February (I think, could possibly have been January) a small number of Egg Money customers were given balance transfer offers.
The offers weren't really anything special, one was 5.9% but I can't remember for how long.
It was the first time they'd ever given promotional rates on Egg Money as usually staff aren't even meant to promote the fact that a BT can be done on an Egg Money card at the standard rate.
To answer the question of how to get an offer, the simple answer is you can't. If you're given an offer you'll be told about it by email.
On a normal Egg Card (Visa) you'll most likely get offers on BTs if you don't use the card for a few months.
The only way you may be able to get some sort of offer is by getting through to the retentions team, but even then your chances are slim. They only work certain hours and if they're busy you get transferred to a regular customer services rep who will just close the card straight away (as they're not able to give any offers).0 -

Useful info matey cheers...0 -
I've got an Egg money question, do they do a Visa version? I got a Mastercard when I applied, but my brother-in-law say's he's got a Visa one? Maybe it's something you've got to ask them for? I've got a normal egg Visa card, but would gladly get rid of it in favour of an egg money visa card!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0
