I am struggling with rising prices. I have an allotment and it really does reduce my bills. Salad and potatoes make the biggest dent in my food bills. I have a salad everyday and potatos and something in the evening. Even doing that we have still spent all our food budget for june already!

Good luck with your pots, and keep it up!

Morning, got my 5000 points added today hope yours have come through too!

We've not tried growing salad leaves, and we eat loads, will have to suggest to dh. Our potatoes are growing well but tomatoes are very slow this year. Hopefully when baby arrives I can look at what I can grow later in the year.

Still no sign of my points I'm afraid, getting a bit fed up.

Still haven't planted the seeds yet and bought some more at lidl yesterday. We had really strong winds at the weekend and are going to have to replace one of the fence panels this week as there is only half of it left. Can't leave it any longer as have two dogs and they need to be safe and secure in the garden.

The pots of herbs took a battering as well and they don't look that healthy and more, hoping they will improve now that the wind has dropped. My Dad grows his own as well and said he may send some potatoes my way when he harvests them. Fingers crossed.

Bought the tubs for the seeds today (at last). Got some internal doors for free from a friend who was changing theirs the live on the same estate as us so they are the as the ones we already had we've got then to replace a coule of damaged ones that should save us a few quid. spending was on track tehn bought a full set of cartridges for the printer.

Well don't think I've done too bad this week, despite having two days off work and going out on day trips with the dogs. Have booked next years holiday already. Have booked an apartment this year instead of booking into a lodge saving about £150 on this years holiday. Plus its slightly nearer to home so travel there and back shoukd be slightly cheaper, and more to do locally so less travel whil we're there. Very pleased and it gives me something to look forward to. Plus will be getting some cashback for it as well. Plus shopping for June was slightly less than previous two months so spending has improved greatly.
