The OP has a point - i'd like to be able to charge my camera battery within the camera. They should have a facility like my samsung phone - i can charge from USB or I can charge from a provided specific charger0

My old Fuji could be charged from a mains charger, although I charged it via a PC docking station. It also took standard AA batteries in case the battery ran out whilst out and about.
My new Panasonic I have to remove the battery to charge but it's hardly a major issue.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
