Should I leave it in quarantine or just hit delete on the little !!!!!!?
The details for that particular piece of malware are at:
http://research.sunbeltsoftware.com/threatdisplay.aspx?name=Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.oj&threatid=104499
Also some similar general info, not quite identical at: http://www.viruslist.com/en/viruses/encyclopedia?virusid=66521
Get rid of it, delete, delete, delete!
Run a couple of scans, then it'll be worth running a HijackThis scan, you can get HiJackthis from the links at it's official homepage: http://www.merijn.org/programs.php#hijackthis
It scans and shows what items are running and potentially harmful on your system, generating a log file which you can analyse.
You can paste the resulting log file into here: http://www.hijackthis.de/ for simple automatic analysis.0 -
Thanks to all for your help, I'm hoping this should be the end of it.
I'm a little wary of doing anything further until step-dad gets back from holiday, don't want to mess up the business computer and not be making any money for a week! lolI may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0
