Multiple old emails being resent??

I wonder if you guys could please help?
For some reason 12mnth old emails are being resent to people in my contact list. I'm really careful with spam emails as it's a business computer & so pretty much everything not recognised gets deleted straight away.
It happened after I received an email like this from someone else I know yesterday, but I only received 2. Apparently there are like 20 of ours going out, every 10mins
I'm currently running a virus scan, but can anyone advise how to get this to stop??

Using Office Outlook (Blueyonder email) if that's what you're asking?I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0

I'd go through the malware removal guide on this board. You may want to consider using something like Thunderbird instead. Personally I use Outlook, but I'd take Thunderbird over Outlook Express."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I'm just doing a spysweeper run & then am going to download this http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ and try it.
Problem is, I don't want to do too much as like I say it's a business computer & the business owner (my step-dad) is on holiday at the moment. I'm worried about causing more problems than solving them!I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0 -
Check the outbox to see if they are being generated before being actually being sent, it's more than likely to be some sort of script or malware on your computer (which can be missed by virus checkers), follow the above advice and run the scanners such as SpyBot S+D, AdAware etc.0

definately nothing in the sent items, but thanks for the heads up.
Arrgh, just noticed that all the scans only doing the C drive. We have a NAS box too, damn it, guess i'll have to re-scan that nowI may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0 -
malware scanner has picked up a trojan downloader, now put into quarantine. Do you think it could have been this that was causing the problems?I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0

What were the details of the trojan, name etc? It's definitely possible!0
