Sony Ericsson W200i - Help, I'm Having A Mare!!!
I purchased an SE W200i today and i'm having troubles.
Firstly, i'm confused as to when I can start using the phone.
It says the SIM will be activated in 24 hours, but do I have to call Orange to do this? I phoned them earlier and got 3 seperate people in foreign call centres of which I understood none and they didn't understand me.
I put the SIM in the phone, but have no idea of my phone number or how to activate anything. Before I got through to various foreign call centres I had an automated lady who took details before transferring me.
Secondly, i've tried setting up the PC Suite on my PC - it's on but my PC is not recognising the phone. It did, then it didn't, then it did and now it doesn't again.
I click on how to connect, via USB cable, it searches then finds nothing.
Doing my head in
Any help appreciated

you can use the features of the phone (eg music player/camera), but cannot use the calling/texting part of the phone until you register the sim with orange.
the number will show up if you go to settings > phone status after you have got orange to activate the sim0 -
Thanks people, all sorted now after speaking to someone from Orange.0
