  • The property register might just have a comment to the effect that the proeprty has the benefit of and is subject to rights contained in a Conveyance/Transfer dated...

    It might well then say later that a copy of that document is filed. You can get a copy by applying by post to the LR (non-conveyancers can't do this online any more) and it may then on its plan show more colours in relation to a shared access - typically part of "your" property coloured say blue with the neighbour having rights over it and part of the neighbour's property coloured differently (often brown) with the occupiers of "your" proeprty having rights over it.

    We don't have a tenancy agreement :s Just a signed sheet thing, that states how much we have paid and when. And a sheet we both signed stating all furniture in the property and the condition of it.
    Our LL has never rented before. Which is why this situation is more complicated. As she wants us to enjoy living here, but also does not want to upset the neighbours.
    The LL doesn't see it as a problem really as to her it never was a problem as she was hardly ever there.
    My baby boy is now 8 weeks old.
