  • I worked in a vet pratice while I was at school, for those who couldn't afford / didn't want a personal cremation, or couldn't face taking the body home after euthanasia, the bodies were collected and cremated communally. I don't believe there was a charge (I may be wrong, we usually said we'd sort out money stuff at another time as owners were understandably upset), but of course it means you don't get any urns or plaques or anything.
