Is there a cheap way (web based maybe) of sending a lot of text messages (30+) to multiple phones at the same time?

am not sure about web-based, but i make use of my orange pay monthly deal, unlimited texts, ie up to 3000/month to text my football team (the one i manage, not support of course).

On my sony ericsson phone, there is the option to create a group of contacts, and to text message this group. Very easy really, hope this helps.

Hope that helps, any decent web-based ones nowadays seem to charge, especially with that functionality?!

If you're not already on it, you can do this with www.mobyko.com (sign up via Quidco to get cashback and the service is free).

It includes (50?) free text messages, which you can send bulk to the contacts on your phone (which the website backs up for you). You can then buy more bundles, not sure what the ongoing rate is...

So can you send them via the web, or you need to use your phone?

^^ Me? Mobyko is via the website - you just type in the text and then select the people you want to send it to.

It knows your contacts because you can synchronise with it.

You can send group texts on Nokia phones, I pretty sure you are only charged for 1 text.

I think your find Texts to seperate numbers are chargeable individually, unless you have inclusive texts available of course.
