Any feedback on NewNet?

Hi, I'm thinking of changing from Tesco to NewNet for my broadband (we don't want phones or anything else, just broadband). We already have a wireless router (Lynksys) and are happy with how it all works at the moment, except Tesco are charging £17.95 a month.
The NewNet package we want is just £12.99 a month, with a 3GB limit. However, we don't download very much so this won't be a problem.
Has anyone used NewNet and how how have they performed? We aren't very technical and will doubtless be in need of telephone assistance at some point, so the helpline is particularly important to us.
Any advice welcomed!

Found Newnet excellent in every respect, constant speed 24/7 , good support and also a presence on the Newnet forum here - http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/ . Only reason I left was cost - 3 pcs in the house all banging a way certainly eats up the bandwidth and couldn't justify paying over £25 for broadband.
Was a breath of fresh air compared to TT but you get what you pay for so if you want a reliable, fast, well supported but not the cheapest ISP go for Newnet.
Small company and phone support is done with the staff they have in the UK - one customer even got a personal visit since he lived round the corner.“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0 -
Thanks for the help espresso and deklan99. I did ring Tesco re changing and they didn't offer me any alternative - poor sales, the guy I spoke to sounded well fed up! So I asked for my MAC code and its on it's way. As I really value the good phone support, I thoink I will go with Newnet - at least ther's no annual conract so if I'm not happy I can easily go somewhere else. Thanks again for making my mind up for me!0

I'm with NewNet and can't fault the service so far. Good constant download speeds even during peak times. I haven't had to phone customer services since setting up my account but when I did they were very helpful. The only downside is they aren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for!0
