Boots Airside Terminal 3 Manchester Airport - Cartons of Aptimil?

Does anyone know if it sells ready made cartons of babyfood to avoid the whole liquids/tasting the babyfood thing?

Newcastle and Altanta Airport Security allowed us to take the cow and gate growing up milk for our 18 month old through security last year with no issues. But when we got to the airport we saw it in Boots as well, wasnt looking for other brands though.

Thanks, that is good to hear. I checked the Man airport website and it says containers of no more than 100 ml of baby food at a time... so a bit worried that I won't have enough to get us through 4 hours at airport plus flight. She wont take the powdered stuff and even if she did, not sure where you could get once boiled water from!

I used Terminal 3 at Manchester at Easter and a new Boots had opened airside since I was there in December last year. I am sorry but I do not know what they sell for babies but it seems reasonable to assume they would have stuff. HTH.

If you check into a VIP lounge (about £18 per person, but that includes nibbles and drinks), the staff there would boil water for you. Doesn't help much if she won't take powdered stuff though.

Having said that, it might be worth checking on uptodate rules - when I went through Manchester to Malta in January they had dropped the ban on liquids (might have put it back again by now, but worth checking with a person, rather than on the website)

Edit - just thought, if there is more than one adult travelling, could you EACH take one batch of the stuff?

I hope this helps, you can telephone them and if they have it in stock they will keep it for you. If not they will order it in for you and you can pick it up when you get there. My daughter works for Boots but not at that branch but they do that all the time for customers.

Wow, thanks everyone, thats really helpful.

I guess the plan is to take everything I can just in case I get a nice pragmatic security check, and order in too.

I knew MSE would have the answer!!
