Wedding favours for kids...

As we're just over 2 weeks from the wedding now  I've got the adult wedding favours sorted but I have a fair few kids favours to get yet...
And I'm stumped! There are a few things I don't want (being paranoid):
Pens or other things that can mark my dress - colour pencils are fine.
Too many sweeties - they'll be hyper enough!
I also want to keep the cost as low as possible as there will be quite a few younger kids...
I think we're looking at *counts on fingers* 6 or 7 under 5s...
Help!!!

How about little colouring books and crayons/pencils - great gift for little ones and it also gives them something to occupy their time. Wilkos have quite a good kiddies craft section and I'm sure you could pick up bits from there quite cheaply.
Maybe a little soft toy or rattle for any babies - Wilkos again would be worth a look or Morrisons maybe? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
if you have a large tescos have a look at the party section, the one near me has loads of little toys that go in party bags, the colouring books is a good idea, should keep them busy while the speeches are bing made.0

When my friend got married my son was a page boy, she made up a little box (similar to a happy meal box) and put various little bits and bobs in it, he loved it. She also bought him a big present as a thankyou.
I refuse to go to anymore weddings, I fell pregnant with my daughter the night of her wedding!!!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Ace Rusty! LOL I have to say it would be hillarious if that happened at ours - but you never know!
Personally I'm debating on when to start a family... I'd like to have been at my current job long enough to qualify for full maternal leave benefits. Mainly because when I return to work I'll need to decide on whether to keep this particular job as currently it involves a LOT of travel and although I love the job this could be a problem with a very young baby!
*sigh* choices...
At least this is a decision I can leave until AFTER the wedding

Stickers! my lo can't get enough of them. How about little magic tricks for the oler ones? Keep them quiet working them out then they can 'entertain' older guests with them through the evening.0

How about giving them a disposable camera each, not too expensive even if all the pictures are rubbish
Should keep them occupied at least.
Good idea from a previous poster about looking in Tesco, they have a great range of party bag treats, bouncy balls, puzzles etc."The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -
