What is the prize for the daily entertainment quiz?

Well now, no answers have been forthcoming, and the only thing I can find mentioned on the PB site is the usual 10 points daily that we all click through to earn. So why do they post the name of the previous day's winner? What's to be won?

Must just be for the 'prestige' of winning - but what good is that when the other members have no idea who you are?

Seems a waste of time even having a draw to find a winner - but perhaps it has something to do with gaming laws etc.?

We want hard, spendable points not fancy titles like 'winner'!!

Has anyone been taking part in the Lightspeed surveys? I keep getting loads of emails from them but can never be bothered to enter as you only get entries in a draw as a reward. Are they worth entering?

However, I've just had one that promised a £20 electrical voucher upon completion (apparently the survey takes an hour!) but guess what, I wasn't eligible... (I just answered the qualifying questions truthfully... should've lied :o). It didn't give any details of the voucher, such as which retailer etc, and said to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery... so am not sure what I missed out on!

I get very few surveys and they have never gone through to completion so I suspect that Lightspeed is gradually building a profile on me based upon my responses to the early questions for some reason! Not sure whether it is worth staying with them now I have my 50 points!

I have been a member of Lightspeed UK before, and received surveys regularly. When I first joined them, quite a few years ago, I won a prize in one of their draws. It was virtually worthless.

Since moving here, I have been a member of the French Lightspeed panel, and again have completed surveys frequently. Even with several tens of entries into the monthly prize draws, in a country where I suspect there are far fewer panel members, I have won nothing whatsoever. I am now on the point of deciding not to complete surveys that do not offer some definite reward: cash, vouchers, even points to trade for vouchers. But no more prize draws, I think.

Dormouse, I didn't qualify for that £20 voucher either. There are lots of surveys for which I don't fall into the target group, being over 50, no pets, no children at home, retired so low income ... No wonder people tell all sorts of lies on these surveys. Which all goes to show that we shouldn't believe what the newspapers - or ad men - tell us!

Perhaps we need to develop an ideal 'profile' that we can all use to get our Lightspeed rewards - but as you say this would rather negate the purpose of the survey. I am a little concerned however that at 35 I am already 'over the hill' for marketers!
