I wonder why they still haven't awarded my 1000 points for the Rustlers comp (which everyone must be fed up of hearing about by now!)
Have they even acknowledged any of your emails about it?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Just checked with my wife and she has got her 100 points back. What are you going to do try again?0 -

They replied to my first one, and indicated that they were passing my enquiry to the person in charge of winning quiz entries. Since then, no further info.
Today, I've had one of those moments where you sort of think that it might be all your fault, and you go all flushed! I saw the name of another MSE-er on the PB site, as she had won the daily entertainment quiz yesterday (Congrats, Alex. Hope your gmail account is working well!). And it suddenly dawned on me that it could have been that quiz that I won, and not the Rustlers one!
I just remember seeing my name on screen as a winner of a comp, and now I'm quite unsure as to which comp it was.
I have emailed Curly again this morning, and I'm sure he will sort things out for me in the end.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

Don't know! It found it all quite scary going on to that poker site. I didn't think the presentation was clear at all, and the instructions on the PB site didn't make much sense to me. I had both windows open at once, and kept looking at one, then the other, trying to follow the instructions.
I'm not normally slow, or unable to follow instructions, and I have a degree in a foreign language, so I hope it's not just me who feels rather intimidated by the Paddy Power site. I didn't know where to find the PB tournament, as there were various buttons to press, and no information in the instructions about which to go for. I did eventually find the tourny, and clicked on it, only to be refused.
Mind you, I am not a gambler, have never been on a gambling site, and find the whole gambling scene quite disturbing. Regarding the poker tournament.
You need to register for a tournament on the Pigsback site, in the paddypower section (by going to register and then entering your paddypower screen name). Then all you have to do is be logged into paddypower, at just before 9. You do not need to click register on the paddypower site. You can check if you are registered by either going to Multi-Tourney and then click on My Tourneys, or you can go to multi-tourney, then find the Pigsback tournament and click on tourney info. The pigsback tournament is sometimes not up on paddypower until a few hours before so if it is not their you just have to check back later. At 9 if you had registered a window will open automatically with your table.0 -
These instructions do not appear on either PB or PP sites. I clicked on multi-tourneys and single tourneys, as I hadn't a clue what to do. As far as I was aware, I had followed the instructions on the PB site about creating a screen-name, etc. I had registered for the tourney on the PB site, as evidenced by the fact that I got the reminder email shortly before the tourney was due to start.
Certainly nothing happened automatically, as it were, as 9 p.m. approached.
Thanks, lufc, for the enlightenment! Hope it profits others! (Also hope your team has a successful season!)Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
Has anyone's love to shop vouchers arrived within 14 days of ordering? My ones from July and other vouchers I ordered since then have still not come. I've had emails from them saying they are on the way...I'll give it two more weeks then give up.0
