well it's funny that you mention it rich ...

right uni first ...the course that seems the most appropriate is a tue,wd and thursday morning doable if i am night shift if i pack job no2 in (which i wanted to do remember) now it doesnt start till sep so i have till then to get back on my feet with hubbys illness etc so that i can afford it i have till then to sort my finances out and that's what i am going to do ...get them sorted once and for all

ever since i was a child i wanted to go to uni i had the intelligence i just didnt have the support and now is my time ...so i have done my statement showed it to a few people and the general concensus is that it is good i just need a referance from my employer this might prove difficult i know she will give me one it might just take a year to get it and the person in my other job (job no2) really isnt up to the standard i wish to produce (not meaning that to sound nasty) so i am thinking (and a friend offered) to get a friedn to do me one it is a last resort though as i would really like to get one from my employer but either way i am going to send away my ucas application form this week now i have missed the initial intake and it might be too late but i wont know if i dont try ...

on other news i did sit down and figure out the finances where they had gone etc and i will give you a run down when i find the paper ...

i am thinking of turning this into a kinda spending diary as well i have seen it done and it seems to work for some people so if i am to sucessfully go to uni i need to get a grip with finances ...

so the old foot up the butts etc will be welcome

It'll be good for you, if not your finances. And that knock to your finances will only be temporary - you'll see.

Ooh, El, sorry its an actual redundancy notice - leaving is quite a different feeling from being pushed. But Z is right, you are too, it might really help yo focus. Take care xx

El, it is a positive - redundancy from job number two is what you needed, really.

You CAN do this and you WILL do this.

And if you need a reference, I am sure I know more about your capabilities than some people who have written references for me in the past have known about me............:D
