  • Howa bout finding a 0 % card. I have just been accepted for 2 on Ge capital, asda card and the paypal one. I was surprised as they have put me on a 15% after rate as well, but i will try and swap to another 0% if not cleared off.

i did the card tarting for years bob will do it if i have to but gonna try and avoid it to be honest ....i found it was too easy just to get new cards and transfer without actually paying anything off ...would probably be different now these were pre mse days
  • I can relate to that one. As to be truthful that's how Mr. B got caught, and he used them for ordinary expenses without thinking about it first. Just wish he would come on here more often, as he is brilliant at maths as well,...and he doesn't mind playing bingo. Much better than me at it.

well i went to work last night had an ok shift in both jobs did some thinking about this challenge for 2012 (or whenever) now if we do it 25 miles a day its gonna take approx 44 days and if we do it at 20 miles a day itll be 55 days that is gonna be quite alot of time off work no doubt unpaid (unless you work for a super company) accomadation is gonna cost a bomb equipment aint gonna be cheap and food for the journey wont be cheap either so i think thinking caps will need to go on hmmmm (night shift is a great shift for planning things)...was also thinking various charities so sat down with a pen and paper the list is almost endless so many are worthwhile

on the way home this morning i saw a woman eating her breakfast from a bowl with a spoon whilst driving at first i started laughing thinking oh my how can anyone do that i've heard about these women that put make up on etc but have never seen it (have to admit i have seen men driving at over 70mph whilst reading books/maps etc) then it struck me how sad a reflection on society it must be when a person doesnt even get 15 minutes to themselves to eat cause the type of world we live in just now and the rising cost of living dictates that they have to chase the almighty pound and so never get time to do essential things like eat a meal ...poor woman probably hasnt had anytime to herself in months ...it's no wonder we all look forward to our two weeks of sunshine .... anyway i thought that was quite sad ...

oh well deep thoughts just before bed time lol anyhoo i'm off for a couple hours kip then will get up and maybe go for a walk with hubby ...

If anyone can think of planning ideas for this challenge feel free to let me know also if anyone has any advice for the West Highland Way much appreciated

Morning El......I think your observation re the lady eating her breakfast was spot on. Sadly that is where life is taking us all too often.

Good luck with the Drs for you and OH and with the reiki sessions. I need to get working now, so will catch up later.

    Have a good day xx

Ps no bingo wins for me either recently - I will fight you for the biggie :D

    More Elantan,
Not only is it a sad reflection on todays society-it is also dangerous.
    Silly moo (her, not you!)

And btw, my Mom is one of those that does her makeup and everything else in the car, lol
