your not being nosey its the West Highland Way it's a walk from Milngavie (pronounced mulguy) to Fort William it's 105 miles long and takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland i am doing it next May with a group of friends (and hubby) hence one of the reasons (though not all) why i joined a rambling club0

What Pania said! At least numb is better than in pain
it's a strange kinda numb gemmz kinda like when you go to the dentist and get a jag then the jag starts to wear off so you still feel things but they still feel kinda numb and sometimes it's sore and tingly ...and see if i bang it O.M.F.G i am in agony cant really kneel anymore either it's too sore but it is ultimatley my own fault and i accept that0 -
i think we should sashay along though more seductive that way lol
well i went to the dr's today and .....i have taken a chip out of my knee the bone has moved and has caused nerve damage i shouldve been taken to hospital the night it happend and put in plaster but it has been left too long now and is permanant i might get the feeling back in the knee but it is unlikely there is nothing that can be done i have to live with it ...
Oh gawd, that's what happened to me the first time. WIth physio it got better though...I thought it was weird way back... when you said you couldn't straighten your knee, i walked like a drunken mongoose for weeks:rotfl:
so all i can say is that you will learn to compensate for it, but i would suggest going to a good Chiroprator sp? To help, because you will walk akwardly and use other muscles to help, which can put a strain on.:o sometimes those wedge things inside shoes are good as well.
So that's my tuppence worth, the walk sounds great by the way and i am loving your determined attitude:beer:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

well i have had my sleep woke up and the hubby informed me son wants us to "help" buy him a bike(motor) ..hahahahahahaha oh he is funny ...his dad told him that we agreed to help him if he got into uni (not looking likely now) son said .no mum said you would give me money for my exam results so hubby replied thats right son we will give you money for your results but we were also going to help you out if you got into uni (i think son is begining to understand he shot himself in the foot) so he said wait till you get your results son replied i was looking for money other than that to which hubby replied we'll see
so i am going to have a bit of a chat with son and explain a few things to him
then son proceeded to tell hubby he bought himself a new phone as he had lost his recently ...hopefully he will learn not to loose things (fingers crossed)0 -
Children with hands out eh? WIll it ever end? Nope:rotfl: :rotfl:
They would be quite happy, if you were skint for the rest of your natural, so long as they could have what they wanted.
Some Unis and colleges in our area, are operating a free bike scheme, with training etc, to help with transport..i would look and see if they are doing anything similar.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
