It's probably just me that it does that to - it makes me feel very drunk! But i get withdrawal symptoms from it too - I had to take it for weeks on end after I had Ryan, and coming off it was really hard going. The ones you buy over the counter aren't very strong hun, don't worry - and if the doctor prescribes them, he will only prescribe the strong ones if you need them. I don't know for certain because I've obviously no medical knowledge, but it seemed to me that they only made me feel drunk once the pain started to subside, because they were probably too strong for the amount of pain I was in, if you see what I mean.really that is scary ...might just leave it then
