    I don't particularly like the process any more than you do, and it is clear that some creditors/DCAs abuse what is an otherwise perfectly legal disclosure of data by the CRAs.

    If you have an issue with how a CRA or DCA/creditor handles your personal data then you are within your rights to complain to the Office of the Information Commisioner.

    I have made my point, no offence to anyone on here ;)

    I just happen to disagree (strongly). There wouldn't be much point to some of these forums if that didn't happen.;)

    Like rayday we are paying our debts so no problem checking credit file as all creditors have the details anyway.
