Ever wondered how Debt Collection Agencies get the info on you, well look no more.
Every person who quite innocently check their files are really shooting themselves in the foot.
read the link below and judge for yourself, not only are you giving all your details you are making life easy for others to track you.

It's not a fact of hiding away from debts, i'm just making a point that a CRA is having a conflict of interest by also owning a DCA..Mmm we will give you your credit report and then make it available to our DCA..get a life rayday0 -
That page and the services referred to in it are those on the USA Experian site and services relevant to their laws.
Similar services/tracing and processing of personal data for people from the UK would be covered by OUR data protection and privacy laws. I'm not sure that some of those services would even be legal here, so you would be best served to check out the UK Experian site.

Press releases
Acquisition of Tallyman collections business
11 May 2007
Experian, the global information solutions company, announces that it has acquired the Tallyman collections management software business. Tallyman is used by clients in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. This acquisition is a natural extension to Experian’s existing product offer in Decision Analytics.
Tallyman provides software and services for managing and collecting overdue debts in the utilities, telecommunications, financial services and public sectors. Its clients include Vodafone, British Gas and ABN Amro.
Sales of Tallyman in the year to 30 September 2006 were £9m and gross assets as at 30 September 2006 were £3m. Tallyman was purchased from Talgentra, a software solutions company.0 -

No conflict of interest whatsoever. Any services offered by Experian will be legal and compliant with the data protection laws in the countries they operate.
If you try to avoid your debts and then provide you current details to Experian or other CRA, then they are legally allowed to link the old data with the new. A genuine creditor is legally allowed to check that data, or use any other service legally offered by the CRAs.
Your argument seems spurious and irrelevant to me.
If you wish to hide from your debts, then it is something to bear in mind. But no more than that.
I have no great love of the CRAs, DCAs, tracing companies or even the original creditors, but to claim a conflict of interest seems to be misunderstanding how the system and the law works.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
