Tonight I made lamb meatballs (lamb mince, rosemary, gently fried chopped onion and beaten egg mixed together and fried gently in olive oil), with tomato sauce (sliced onion, tinned tomatoes, mixed herbs, dash of white wine vinegar and a teaspoon of sugar). Served on a bed of spagetti and sprinked with grated cheesed. Delicioussssss....:D

Me and me sis, CQ, have been at it again - only I got as far as making the hole for my toad :D. Had it with mash and veggies, then HM plum crumble and custard for pud (which I've been too full to eat yet, but maybe I'm feeling peckish again.....)

Cabbage - thinly sliced and fried with little strips of bacon and garlic. (Also works well with sprouts)

Well in the end I cut the chicken breasts into strips and fried them off with some chopped shallots (found in the bag of veg my ex brought from his allotment) garlic, coriander and mint and some finely chopped chili. Poured a carton of passata over them and stirred in the cream.

Served with pasta and DH was asking for seconds :D

We're moving next week so trying to eat as much as poss from the cupboards.

So tonight I'm having pasta, chickpeas & tinned tomatoes with peas & spinach (from the freezer).

Just use an onion, some garlic and tomato puree to make it tasty :)

  • Tonight we had a first for us, chicken and roast carrot kebabs, with rice.
I know the kebabs sound a bit boring, (could have used more exciting veg I know) but unfortunatley my OH is the pickiest eater on this planet and will only eat carrots. No other veg or salad will cross his lips.
For pud we had a very yummy lusciously large choccie cake.

(Although OH and 2 DD's are incredibly picky with anything green and healthy they like chocolate cake.) :D
