mobile phone "The Apprentice"
Hello
I am out of touch with mobile phone technology and use a nokia 6610.
On "The Apprentice" they all seem to have phones that are a speaker phone as well as being able to talk from two feet away.
Perhaps someone could suggest a model, must be unlocked and maybe the best place to purchase.
Cheers

it's all special effects.....
....just kidding. Most medium-high end Nokias have speakerphone functionality. I believe they've been using N95s inthe latest series, and last series I seem to remember E61s.
My 6120 and E51 both have speakerphone, as does the old 6100 we have kicking around in the car (doesn't have bluetooth but doesn't matter because of this - you can leave it in the centre console and it's quite usable handsfree)The thanks button is here to the right. even quite modest phones have speakerphone as an option, appearing by one of the buttons during a call0

Even my old (getting on for 3 years now?) Razr V3 had a speakerphone. Admittedly the quality was pants, but most half decent phones have half decent speakers these days. Business phones generally have better if it really matters to you.0

Incidentally if it's car handsfree-ability you're looking for I was in tesco yesterday and they had all sorts of accessories being cleared out - windscreen mounts, visor-clip handsfrees, etc. - bought a suction-mount to use phone as sat-nav for £3.48.
[if you find this irrelevant, then "I'm fired"!]
best places to buy - all these phones can be had anywhere - offline is cheap on ebay generally, unless you buy something locked to a network when a PAYG handset can be reasonable from the likes of CPW/e2save, or for Virgin maybe a recon handset direct from them, and orangeaccessories.co.uk for Orange locked refurbs. The thanks button is here to the right. Thanks very much for the tips & suggestions. I do not mind refurbished and do not need bells and whistles but must be unlocked or unlockable as I use international call simm cards. I am tired of my current Nokia because sometimes I have to shout to be heard or move around to hear the other person properly. If someone has a suggestion for a refurbished but excellent quality mike, speakerphone and reception and that works in europe that would be brilliant.
