He also likes to bulk buy on stuff that is on offer but I think this is a false economy
It is a false economy in our house. If its there DH eats it and would get through food at a quer rate of knots, so its pointless buying in too much

Well my DSs acquired their tarantula just over a week ago

Spiders don't bother me but earwigs

    ***shudder***
How can a little earwig bother you more than a great big f***off tarantula ???:confused:

what age are the boys ? I tell you I think I will be reasonably liberal and open minded but if they ask for a tarantula asa pet it will be a definite NO

oh LO woken up, bit more settled than last night. Best go feed her ten bed time.

    Morning all

Wet and grey here on the south coast. Am tired this morning. Spent most of last night doing adminy things like sorting papers, paying bills and wrapping parcels. Tonight I shall fly on the bedroom and then put my feet up! I hope there's something decent on the tele...

The twins are nine. I was happy for them to have a spider because they are very low maintenance to look after. No fur everywhere, no clawing of furniture, no having to scoop poop off the pavement.
I've never had an issue with spiders but once when we were kids, a picture hung in our bedroom acquired an earwig nest. Hated them ever since. ??It's that sneaky slinking movement uggh
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

Morning, apologies to Pink Fairy, Happy Birthday for yesterday:o

Sharon i bulk buy on certain things like toilet roll, toothpaste etc when it is on offer. I dont buy crisps or sweets etc so that isnt a problem:D It would definately be a false economy to buy these in bulk! Dont let hubby shop with you, its amazing how much more you spend when they are with you:eek:

Need to get cracking, anyone got an idiot proof cake recipe for when mil comes tomorrow?

    Morning all

Just a quick visit to see if we had any bump news? I'm getting so, so broody for another baby I'm dying for some news.

Been an interesting morning so far.....the fake tan I put on last night has gone all streaky so been scrubbing my skin off in the shower, DH burnt toast so alarms went off and everywhere STINKS, I fell down the stairs rushing to see what was happening and cracked myself on the baby gate, DS has burnt his finger on the kettle (don't ask), the dogs have had a bad fight, I've found a strange lump on little dogs back and now DS is currently chucking playdo everywhere

    Can only get better eh?

SSL - fab news on the bungalow
Tai - any news on your yet?

Thanks for the grocery challenge info, think I'll try again with it.

Right, got to get the tribe ready to leave in an hour so better get a wriggle on.

    Morning

    Happy Belated Birthday Pink x

Trace what a crap start to th day - it can only get better ((((hugs)))) x

Mudbath sorry about the thumb-what a bummer x

Great news re: the bungalow SSL :T

Think I might join some of you in the grocery challenge, I've given myself £40 pw for me and the 2 kids it's easily do-able but I could do with the motivation to stick with it and not go over, especially after my 4 weeks non-essential spending is over, so I'm gonna join it I think.

Start work in approx 20 mins and I've got to get there so just a quickie post from me today. Is Johanne stll holding on? Still no word from Shell either :(

Right, I'm offskis, laters gators :hello: xx
