Wilkinsons rocks!
Thinking of getting a delivery rather than struggling on the bus.
However - can't justify spending enough to buy enough to get a delivery
Trying not to buy online... trying not to buy online.... Need to watch the pennies really hard for the next few months - eldest cat is at the vets as we speak, and the insurance I finally managed to get through quidco for an 18 year old mog does not cover the umpteen visits and tons of antibiotics as is pre existing condtion. Sigh.
Well, logged in, staying logged in and I've done nothing (apart from chase round after DS and a load of duty phone calls).
So, better get started - just after I've checked my emails....:rolleyes:Always another chapter0 -
argh.. nowt done.. mother on phone.. now I have 30 minutes before I have to go collect Tiddles..

What's sleep? :rotfl:Actually I'm going now, well upstairs, DS1s awake again, monster he is when something changes (back to school tomorrow is all it takes) If I get more than 5/6 hours I feel terrible as that's what I've got used to, DS1 slept for 4 hours ish in every 24 from being about a baby, about 14 months or something. I do usually have one day a fortnight or so where I feel shattered and pop back to bed during the day
not possible when they were off as DP was busy and studying etc so probably due this week to fall asleep on the sofa.
lil_me - you have my greatest sympathy. I cant function without my sleep. Does DS1 get up when he wakes up? My cousin, who is 21 this year, has learning difficulties and doesnt sleep much, but he never leaves his room. Just one of those strange things, he loves his routine and his routine is once he goes to bed he doesnt leave the bedroom (he's still in nappies) He does sometimes trash his bedroom though or lies in bed chatting away to himself, but my aunt knows that he's safe and can get her sleep. His best friend is the opposite. She is a nightmare and has left the house on several occasions during the night. She has ended up in a neighbours house more than once (we dont tend to lock our doors here) but luckily because everyone knows everyone she has been safely returned.0 -
Wilkos say Quidco only just forwarded the details to them. So it's all Quidcos fault! :rotfl: Ah well.
Right ebay item ending soon, item is packaged and if they pay it will be posted later today.
I am going out to town right after I change DS2's butt.0 -

Having to explain things I take for granted (like what Armistice Day meant to my line manager) and finding out I was older than my supervisor's mother.
And of course on-line while we know by the references to children roughly how old people are we sort of ignore it IYSWIM.
Your line manager didnt know what Armistice Day was??????0 -

Oh G&B - I'm technically old enough to be your mum! I'm 39 in August, and my cousin is 26 on the same day. I used to be mistaken for her Mum when we were much younger!0 -
gunsandbanjos wrote: »Bah, i am so disorganised sometimes. My mum just phoned to ask if LO's nursery is on as her friend who is a teacher said it was spring holiday
Why did i not have that in my diary? Grrr.. that has ruined my plan for the day, have said i will take her to the zoo instead.
G&B - I forgot as well. Not about school, DD remembered that, but the post offices are closed as well, so I cant post my ebay parcels today :mad:0 -
Well done Tiddles!!
Need to shift myself as I'm meeting chums for lunch.
Nicki - what tattoo are you getting?
Have a good day everyone :wave:0
