Is my car overpriced?

I have advertised my vw golf online with ebay, for over 3 weeks and only had a couple of calls no one has come to look, and it has now been on the trader site for a few days and no calls so far
Do you think it is overpriced? or do the big wheels put people off? it has 61k on the clock and is in good condition

It may help if you include how long the MOT is for.;)0

Well for the same price there is one on there with half your mileage AND leather. But its a year older.
Yours says 2000. Get the fact it's an X reg in there too, as most buyer will assume its a 2000 V...
Nationally between 4000 - 6000 quid there are 116 VW Golf Convertibles upto 80,000 miles
So there is a big selection out there and your prices are amongst garage ones.
Maybe wait another 6 weeks when the sun is cracking the pavements..?
Also add an interior piccie...0 -
To much reflection on the photos, hard to see the car was my immediate thought.0

Too early in the year to sell a soft-top. Leave it until the sun comes out, you'll get a much better price then.0

Might be "Time of the month", so to speak.
I recently sold my car. It was on autotrader for 3 weeks with no (apart from idiots) calls. However, one month end came i.e. A LOT of people get paid, I had loads of calls. In 9 days you may find that the call rate increases. My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0 -
It's possibly a little bit rich, but not overwhelmingly so. However, there's a couple of issues...
Don't be too disheartened, as it's been cold and wet over the last few weeks (or at least it has here) and that tends to dissuade people from buying a soft top. When the sun comes out, as others have said, there'll be a few more people prepared to buy (although personally I'd buy a convertible on the darkest, wettest day of winter!)
Get some more/better pictures. Pretend it's for a car magazine, get some shots with the roof down, put some interior pictures up, and make sure there's not too much sun either washing out the picture or reflecting too much. You've got the sun behind the car on both photos there, so it'll appear darker and less defined. the internet is a visual medium - use it to your advantage!
Use your description to sell it a little more - how much MOT and tax, how economical, and so on.
Good lcuk!0
