3 refer a frend

I have a friend who a refered to make a contract, took the coupons required and they said that we were going to receive the credit in 60 days.
I saw a couple a weeks ago on My 3 that I had on the Spent since last month: (30) (in brakets... so I assumed that they will take from this when I will make calls extra from my minutes. But I haven't made any calls and when I received the minutes this month I saw that the credit is now 0 !
Does this mean that the credit was valid for a month? And why isn't it written somewhere this? Why don't they send at least a message to say that they give you the credit and you should use it in a month? Are they in their right to do so without having T&C saying anything?
And by the way my friend hasn't received the credit at all... I received it and they took it back...

This is the T&C that they have on the site:

  • 3 are (at best) useless.

They gave me a code "to get £20 off accessories" if I took a contract with them.

When I tried to use the code it was declined.

When I contacted their foreign customer service team, they stated the code should have been entered when i took the contract and they would later send a voucher to be entered on the accessories website.

This hadn't been explained and I felt this was just designed to make it difficult for you to actually use the thing.

Of course, they would do nothing to try and sort this out for a new customer.

First impressions of 3 are certainly not good.

If the items I ordered ever arrive (due yesterday but didnt arrive), I will have to decide whether the lack of customer service is worth the £8/month I'm saving.

I'm likely just to send the whole lot back and cancel it all within the 14 day period.

    Check your direct debit ;)
The £30 gets directly knocked off your bill, so if your bill (With no extras/ additional spend) was £35 for the month, your direct debit should take out £5 only.
Similarly, if your bill was £15, then no money would go out from your end, and £15 credit would remain.

    Cheers

Uhhhh... I tried to call their customer service... The hard part is trying to understand them
They said something similar, but they could not explain why this month it showed on my 3 like additional spent in brackets (which means minus)... it was (29.40) - I spent something... and this month it's showing 0 (my bill is 15).
And of course had no idea why my friend hasn't received yet the credit and sayd that maybe he will receive it next month.
I will check the direct debit and call them again maybe I can find someone who understands better english and I receive more information.
