Just to say that I picked up a bottle of Lidl's version of Coco Madamoiselle. I was really impressed with the packaging and the bottle, as well as the price. I actually prefer Lidls because it's not as heavy and overpowering as the Chanel version.
It wears off quite quickly - but so what? It's always best to use fragrances that are fresh rather than stagnating in a bottle for months. At £3.99 it's a real bargain.0 -
I really love the Diptydique and Miller Harris perfumes, they are even pricey on Ebay!
Tesco used to have excellent rip-offs but they stopped selling these a few years ago. (Must have gotten caught!) Does anyone else know of anything other/any other similar scents out there? At the moment they all seem to be so sickly and just too much for me that I don't even bother with the 'current' stuff heavily advertised (IYSWIM!) Is there anything out there at the moment?0 -
There are some "Anna Biondi" 75ml Eau De Parfums at my local Aldi.
Brilliant Gold, Flowery Red or Light Silver. I missed out on the Lidl Suddenly Madame Glamour, so wonder if anyone here has tried these.
I bought Brilliant Gold (pic attached) but my nose isn't as well-trained as some MSE-ers, and I couldn't offer a comparison. It lingers for quite a while, seems well worth £3.99..it's nice once it settles down. Smells quite crass and chemically at first.

Just wanted to say that I went to buy a small bottle of the M&S per una limited edition fragrance that smells like Coco Madamoiselle and I had to put it back on the shelf. Yes, it does smell like Coco Madamoiselle but there was something else in there really irritated my nose, like really obvious alcohol. I don't know if it was the tester as it looked like it had been open a while, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. Will just have to wait and see if someone gets me the real deal for Christmas!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Thanks.
They are very quick. I put in an order last weekend. They phoned to tell me that I had asked for one that is marked as out of stock and did I want to pick another one. I edited my order and they sent it out that day.
Cue, one very happy perfume parlour shopper. I bought the jo malone smell alikes and a vanilla tobacco one. they are all divine. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
A lot of posts have said that their perfume choice wears off quick, but you have to be careful with this assumption.
My M-i-L wears so much perfume that when she gets in the car, we have to drive with the windows open! When she asked Why, we said that her perfume was so strong we basically couldnt breathe! She replied that she couldnt smell anything, she'd put some on after her shower, and then it wore off, so she put some more on, then just for good measure she put another few sprays on before she went out. Whilst we were suffocating, she couldnt smell it at all !0 -
I'm so glad I discovered this post! I too have followed suit and have ordered some perfume oils from Perfume Parlour. Now I do love the real deal, however it can't be bad to have some extra scents to use throughout the day as a top up, and at the price they are you can afford to top up throughout the day.
I have been following other people's advice from here in what smells close to the real thing or not. I ordered CK Euphoria- smells nice, not exact likeness, Coco Mademoiselle- close likeness, but smells nice, Stella- good enough.
I did a test myself as I have the real Coco Mademoiselle, so I put this on first thing in the morning on one wrist, and on the other I put the perfume oil on. Later on that evening, I can still smell Coco very clearly- this scent lasts forever! I can also still smell the perfume oil, although not as strong the scent does linger, so I was happy.
I have ordered 5 more now so am just waiting for my order to turn up,based on the advise you all have given already! Lets hope they are as good as the first batch! Boss Orange, JPG, Miss Dior Cherie, Flowerbomb and Pomegranite Noir-Jo Malone!0 -

Thank you. I placed an order with them on the 17th Sept and it's not arrived yet. Perhaps I'm just being impatient!
